With the Holiday season fast approaching it is time to dive into all the Disney World has to offer during the most festive time of year starting with one of my favorites, The EPCOT festival of the Holidays.
The Candlelight Processional.
A beautiful retelling of the nativity story told every night by a rotating list of celebrities. With beautiful music and scenes played in front of you it really is a beautiful night. To guarantee a seat in the show you can add a dinner package but it is not necessary. You will have to line-up early for some of the bigger name celebrities, but it is certainly worth your time.
World Showcase Storytellers
Travel the world (showcase) and learnt the way all the different countries celebrate the holiday season. Hear directly from santa or st nick as they tell you the stories of their native country. Check you app to see the times as they will happen multiple times throughout the day.
Holiday Bites.
Now on to one of my favorites FOOD. All around the world showcase there will be the ability to taste special holiday treats from all your favorite countries. I’m especially looking forward to the Apple Pie sundae at the Fifi and drum and the maple leaf shortbread cookie in Canada. It’s an ideal spot for photos and a must-see highlight of the celebration.
A stunning new take on Living with land
Who doesn’t love a slow boat ride through a green house… I know I do. Well now experience it in a whole different way. During Festival of the Holidays, the classic attraction Living with the Land transforms into a glittering greenhouse tour, featuring sparkling Christmas lights and dazzling decor, sure to fill guests of all ages with childlike wonder and awe. The peaceful boat ride still chronicles the incredible work of Walt Disney World plant scientists and their innovative growing techniques and technologies, with a bit of frosty flair. A holiday-themed narration can also be heard to guide you on your cruise.
